Geneva Media has referral sources and deep connections with over 150 of America's top risk management professionals. This allows unparalleled access to L&H or P&C practitioners (in almost every U.S. state and Canadian province), for the design and placement of CAIC structures. As well as a superior legal and underwriting brain trust, these elite practitioners and their highly-respected companies add expertise in additional areas that are required for the proper installation and administration of our plans through Film Financing Referrals, the national Life and Health groups who administer our plans, master general agencies (MGAs), and international reinsurance subsidiaries throughout world.
Mr. Dyer - Director / CEO
CEO
"Binky" Dyer has 25 years of experience with L&H insurance brokerage, banking, financial advisory services, new media, as well as film and TV production. He has worked for the largest Internet development companies, insurance carriers, media conglomerates, broker/dealers and international banking institutions in the world as a private consultant, marketing executive, agent and producer.
He has overseen syndicated financial loan and media account verticals throughout his career at Harris Bank & Trust, Nesbitt Burns, Cebra Inc., and the Bank of Montreal (BMO) during the decade of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (i.e., federal legistation which removed all barriers in the market among banking institutions, securities brokers and insurance carriers). During his tenures at cutting-edge new media and Internet consulting companies, iXL / Razorfish, Inc., and Cebra, Inc. BMO / Harris Bank., he was active as a Director and Senior Manager.
He has worked for AXA, NYLIC, MET, Transamerica Financial and numerous other broker/dealers as a risk mitigation professional, L&H producer, financial consultant, media adviser and a designer of CAIC structures. He has provided personal and corporate financial solutions for successful writers and producers, as well as the most successful television, hotel, department store and manufacturing family dynasties in America.
Mr. Dyer graduated from USC with a degree in screenwriting and motion picture production from the School of Cinematic Arts (formerly, School of Cinema-TV), with undergrad studies at University of Wisconsin-Madison (English, comm. arts and theater) and UW-Whitewater (world history, TV journalism, accounting). Mr. Dyer optioned his first screenplay and a teleplay while still a student at USC, and has been writing, producing and financing media projects for over 30 years.
He has worked on the story development, legal negotiations, and spec script sales for David Chappe, Mark Frost, David Lynch, and many additional top scribes while working for screenwriter/attorney, Samantha Shad, Esq. in the era of the Shane Black and Joe Eszterhas mega spec screenplay purchases.
Mr. Dyer has been involved in venture philanthropy and has raised and developed millions in endowments and annual gifts for The Time is Now to Help the Children (founded by Sal Dimiceli - a CNN Hero award recipient), The Maple Counseling Center of Beverly Hills, as well as hospitals and poverty outreach groups. He actively helps fund addiction counseling centers, dyslexia education, and bi-polar disorder (of which a family member suffers).
Mr. Dyer has been portrayed, to his dismay, by Ethan Hawke in the Ben Stiller directed film, "Reality Bites", written by his college friend and fellow screenwriting student, Helen Childress, but in name only and not by likeness or reputation according to a statement by the screenwriter.
